Developed by Radical Entertainment (the same studio behind Prototype ) and published by Universal Interactive, this game arrived as the official tie-in to Ang Lee’s critically divisive film, Hulk . While the movie explored Bruce Banner’s psychological trauma, the game did something radical: it let you smash everything in sight with no apologies.

The rights to the Hulk character (in games) have shuffled hands multiple times. After Radical Entertainment closed in 2012, the publishing rights defaulted back to Marvel (now owned by Disney). Disney has since focused on newer titles (LEGO Marvel, Marvel’s Avengers).
